About Us

Re-opening its coastal and casual doors in March 2022, Da Orazio is back serving Sydney residents with the most delicious and authentic Italian food its residents have ever seen.

Immerse yourself in Italian culture and atmosphere in one of Australia’s most iconic precincts, Bondi Beach. Soul-hugging, flavourful and family-friendly, Da Orazio’s food and wine menu offers something for everyone. While menu favourites are always a staple, regular specials and additions keep Da Orazio’s offerings fresh and exciting.

Da Orazio is a proud owner of one chef’s hat,
awarded by the Good Food Guide in 2023.

When you can’t go to Italy, go to Da Orazio!

“It quickly became Sydney’s hottest new restaurant, known for outstanding woodfired pizzas, hulking rotisserie porchetta and good looking, gregarious staff who were as stylish as the clientele.”

Our Venue

Coastal and casual, but also refined, Da Orazio’s fit out was led by Loopcreative's Rod Faucheux. The 90-seat space consists of honeyed timber bentwoods and caramel-coloured leather banquettes set against a neutral palette of stucco-style cream, white, and ecru walls. Punctuated by cerulean-tiled tabletops, the space is light, breezy and stylish.

Da Orazio has expanded into the space next door for the perfect private dining experience, events space, or casual afternoon drinks haven. Offering the same menu as the restaurant, the 40-person space, Ori’s Bar, is open for walk-ins, or anyone passing through The Hub to stop by for a quick drink and some antipasti.

Sit back, relax and watch the world go by from this comfortable, chic open space.

Head Chef, Orazio D’Elia, has his own distinctive way of doing things offering his vibrant Napolitano personality on a plate. D'Elia designed a menu comprised of old favourites – such as the porchetta with focaccia, a burrata panzanella salad, and fregola frutta di mare – alongside new dishes, such as pollo mattone (brick chicken).
